Long wait time, edible if you like over cooked chicken. Nothing special here. Try Harold's on 79th & Cottage Grove, the food is delicious & hot! There's still a 10-12 min wait time but worth it! I live in Hyde Park but will travel for good food.

Chicken is good; line was very long, do not expect fast food. Staff seems to be working hard, just often have a high volume of customers. Really need some sort of intercom or microphone to call out the numbers when food is ready. Nobody can hear them and customers end up calling out the numbers. People are scattered everywhere and it's almost impossible to hear them unless you are standing right by the window.

I waited 35 minutes for salty overfried chicken, and the mild sauce had some gross hickory taste to it. This Harold's is usually really good but not the last few times I've gone there.

This is the worst harolds because they have poor customer service, the food is decent though. Still wouldn’t suggest anyone going here who has a life because you will wait 30-40 minutes for your chicken. That’s even when you call in. I have never understood the purpose of me calling in my order an hour in advanced to STILL wait for 20 minutes once I get there. I am a Chicago native and can tell you first hand this is a poor representation of Harold’s chicken. Don’t go here unless you absolutely have too.

My order was overcooked and I was shorted 1 piece of chicken. The eating area is large and in a well traveled and well known strip mall area in Hyde Park. Staff was distracted and did not verify my order which probably led to the error. My third star is only for my remembrance of how good the food used to be.
